The cheapest is not necessarily the best ;) To an extent domain names are all about how much you pay, because really a registrar is just acting as an intermediary to the DNC. However, in saying that it depends what you want from your domain. E.g. DNS control, domain parking, email etc...some registrars are better than others with regard to this. I use www.webbase.co.nz they provide domains for $29.95+GST per year, however there are others that are cheaper such as www.1stdomains.co.nz and heaps that are about the same price such as www.discountdomains.co.nz. At the end of the day expect to pay $25 - $40 per year. Unless you go with Xtra or Domainz...then you are just getting suckered. :yuck: |
