| 698424 | 2008-08-18 22:16:00 | I'm trying to upgrade my RAM . My board has 4 slots . Currently houses two 512mb corsair 800mhz, and i'm trying to put a pair of 1GB rams into the remaining slots . But i don't know which ones to buy . . . . . . . Is the ddr2-800mhz better than a 667mhz? And do i need to install both of them with the same latency? |

Which maybe a lot slower than dual channel mode But if youre not worried about dual/single channel ram, put anything you want in it. Obviously 800 is better and probably faster than 667 |
