| 455627 | 2006-05-18 00:47:00 | Yep - Blue Security has croaked. Froggy is dead and 500,000 subscribers to Blue Frog are grieving and wringing their hands. And not so much as a 'thank you and goodbye' from Eran Reschef & Co for the Blue Frog community's loyal service. The truth is that Blue Security was caught with its pants down, and to its cost found out that spammers do fight back. PharmaMaster, the Russian mafia spammer who instigated the massive DDos attack on Blue Security, won this round. Our weak-kneed government, and most governments, don't have the slightest idea what they're up against when it comes to anti-spam legislation. Still, it goes to show that Blue Frog worked, even if it stirred up the hornet's nest and died as a result. |
