455269 2006-05-16 06:06:00 Here I have a choice:

Fastways
Posthaste
NZ Couriers (who are Not NZ Post Office Courierppost)

Who would you use?
Its too expensive to use NZ Post...

455270 2006-05-16 06:28:00 My blood runs cold when I know that a vendor is sending me something via Fastways, who must be the most misnamed organisation I have ever come across.

In my experience, Courier Post is the best.

455271 2006-05-16 06:34:00 Don't touch Fastways. They leave parcels in the most odd places.
NZ Couriers are fine.

455272 2006-05-16 06:42:00 Schapelle Corby has to be one of the worst couriers  plod (107)
455273 2006-05-16 06:50:00 Yeah but at least she pays compo when doesn't deliver as promised, even if it's jail time. Jester (13)

Yes but Courierpost (NZPost) with proper insurance would cost $130 + for this item. Its large and is going far....
So it has to be one of the other 3...

455275 2006-05-16 07:23:00 Oh well, in my experience, anyone of them except Fastways - that is, if you want to keep your customer! John H (8)
455276 2006-05-16 07:43:00 CourierPost will not drive up the drive (or walk up the drive) here, it's 43 metres from the road to the door on a sealed drive with a large yard for turning. Apparently it's "too far" according to their office, when called to ask why they would not deliver.

Its an urban location, they will only leave a card in the letterbox, advising the item can be picked up from the PostShop.

However the simple answer was to instruct all my clients and suppliers to use another company, that now works well for me.

NZ Couriers seem about the most reliable and most use them now.

I like NZPost . Can't use them in this instance .

Here it is rather amusing . Any parcels I miss from them I get a note in the letterbox saying collect at Dairy up the road . Not an official note, just a handwritten one .
And I go into the dairy and the lady spots me and whips out my parcel . . . . . without me even saying anything . Geez, little pokey towns huh . . . .

Looks like NZ Couriers have won the vote so off to Invercargill I go . . .
