One time I returned a CD drive (without a receipt OR the packaging) and they couldn't find record of the transaction (I'd paid cash). | 457470 | 2006-05-25 12:37:00 | Just to add to the love ... My brother in law told me tonight that he bought RAM from DSE about a year ago and it was the wrong type but they didn't have what he wanted so he got a refund. That impressed me. |

| 457471 | 2006-05-25 22:05:00 | Several years ago I bought a DVD player from DSE. Eventually movies would freeze so I returned it during the last week of the one year DSE warranty. They gave me a new DVD player which was better than the old one. A couple of months ago I bought a Nokia cellphone from DSE. Did not like it so exchanged it for a Sony Ericsson. No problem, and the DSE prices were the lowest or as low as other shops. I believe Noel Lemming stores also have an exchange policy that matches DSE. I prefer to buy items with such policies and often go to the Warehouse just for this reason. |

They have a policy that says if you owned any electronic or whiteware item for 3 months they reserve the right to fix it rather than refund you. I only suceeded with them by creating an enormous fuss in the middle of the shop. |
