455662 2006-05-18 11:15:00 When just a very young lad of 4 or 5 or so, I had this dream that I was standing at the bush at the end of our street (this was semi-rural Sandringham mind) and this humungous black monster rushed out at me. :waughh: I threw a small tin of yellow custard at it, the beast fell in and was swallowed up. Dream ends.

I currently live in 'semi-rural' Sandringham and fondly call it 'the dark side'... perhaps that black monster is still around. Haven't seen any flying custard though

455663 2006-05-18 11:20:00 LOL. I used to have this nightmare about 5 or so years ago where I was just staring at the carpet and the small loops in it got bigger and bigger untill I woke up... very weird... now if only there was the most random dream thread... :D The_End_Of_Reality (334)
455664 2006-05-18 11:21:00 I dreamed that I had come home to find all the furniture in the lounge missing. Apparently the aliens standing under my clothesline had taken it all which sort of annoyed me at the time. I then went into the bedroom and realised the aliens had taken my bed, which really did annoy me. I was so angry I started to yell at them and woke myself up making an air-raid siren like noise which was getting louder and louder ... Jen (38)
455665 2006-05-18 11:57:00 Me being a secret agent (a fat one presumably), watching the female baddie turned hero die in my arms with me asking her name and she, with her last ounce of strength saying it, then she dies in my arms and me crying, her lifeless body in my arms...
Come to think of it, it may have been the chick in Goldeneye, Natalya Zenasomethingarather...

Man, I really should record all my dreams, I come up with some really weird stuff.

455666 2006-05-18 11:57:00 I usually forget my dreams soon after I wake up, but I know I've had some really wierd ones.

When I wake up in the middle of the night & see the lights from my optical mouse & my router, then go back to sleep, that gives me some really weird dreams. I wake up in the morning thinking "what the hell happened", but can't really remember what I was dreaming about.

455667 2006-05-18 14:51:00 Dunno about weird, the weird ones are when you're doing something then the next thing the environment or thing changes totally to something completely different with no apparent skip in the story...

But one memorable nightmare:

Husband is chainsawing, comes down the drive for lunch (he's a diabetic you see so stopping for lunch is crucial - in the dream he's starting to lose it and he's half off his head) and the chainsaw is still going and I'm running up to tell him to turn it off and he cuts off an arm, he keeps coming, I'm still running, sloooowwwllllyyyy like you do in dreams, and he cuts a leg off, theres a huge mess all over the drive and I've reached him and he's still coming down the drive, albeit lurching cause of the stump and I can't get the chainsaw off him because its still revving madly and hes still waving it around and then he cuts off the other leg. And then he still keeps coming. Then I wake up.

What was creepiest was at one stage he did do chainsawing for a living. Used to give me the screaming horrors.

Sounded bit like resident evil.Very scary....:(

455668 2006-05-19 00:17:00 Every year on my birthday, I had the same dream .

I was seeing people with all green faces and bodies, holding something at their chest level . I cannot say if there were a lot of them, but I think the count was four or five .

I would change my viewing angle and seem to rise to a corner of the large also-green-colored room that I was obviously in, looking down at the same people until I heard a small bell "ding", and the whole scene started all over and over again, perhaps twenty or thirty times .

Many years went by and I finally told my mom about it . . . she stopped what she was doing and told me (with a very astonished look on her face) that it was the same dream she had while she was in labor with me .

The "green guys" were the US Naval doctors, dressed in green surgical gowns and masks, and the "ding" was the oxygen flow meter, telling the number of liters that had gone through it .

Could I have witnessed my own birth? :dogeye:

I don't know . :waughh:

The dream never returned in the forty-plus years after I told her of it .

The aliens we get in Southern California are much more progressed than yours; they'd would rather steal your car and take it back across the border to Mexico .

Your aliens don't seem too dangerous . . after all, it's just some furniture .

Um, I would have thought you'd dream of a rather messy view of (edited due to being a family forum) instead then .

455671 2006-05-19 03:12:00 As a kid I would have this nightmare... would be a letter (any letter) that would just grow bigger and bigger and just consume my entire mind.
Also used to dream (as a kid) I was Superman, but I couldn't fly very high very quickly; so all these people below me would try and pull me down. Sometimes they did, sometimes I got away.

The worst dreams however are the ones where you are just about to get intimate with some gorgeous woman and then your partner wakes you up :stare:
