| 698400 | 2008-08-18 05:22:00 | New Vista laptop connecting wireless to an older Dynalink 4 port wireless router. Not sure of the model number as not in front of me. Have configured the wireless with SSID and no security. Laptop finds wireless and connects but has "limited connection". Have set a static IP and disabled TCP/IP V6 with no effect. No firewalls except OS one. Properties shows data sent but none received. ideas?? |

Makes no difference with a static IP on wireless, same result. Next time I'm onsite I will take my own laptop and try to connect. Maybe an issue with the router. |
