699642 2008-08-23 05:39:00 Some weeks ago I completed a clean reinstall of Windows XP professional, in place of the media centre edition which crashed and burned and wouldn't reinstall properly from the section of the hard drive it was supposedly kept in. Lucky I had an XP disc. However now various things especially my sound card don't seem to have drivers. Is there any way I can find out what sort of sound card it is and where to download drivers from? Guerilla Surgeon (6848)

Is it an HP / Dell system, or did you build it?

Er well that depends. Some people who build their own PC, dont know either

They may know what the mobo is, they'll still ask here, where to find the drivers
