Who here has suffered, suffering or hope not to get these winter illness's that are doing the rounds at the moment? how many of you get the flu jabs? What precautions have others been taking? dr's visits are costly . . . and the chemist seems to rub there hands together when you walk in the door . . . . . Natural remedies ? or Chemist hard hitting things? vitamins ? or alcohol . . . :p garlic? vitamin C? or what not? lemsips? lemon hot toddies? what is your tired and true remedy apart from never getting sick? would be interested . . . . . . . . . . . . . not asking for 100% results, just interested . . . . . . . . . . . . . cos man am i tired of being sick at the moment . . . . . . . . . . . :rolleyes: Take care, good health and happy days from me . and thank goodness i cant spread my personal germs via the internet . . . . . . . . . and no peach aint sick so youre safe . . . . :p :D beetle |

| 458760 | 2006-05-29 07:10:00 | Plenty of Fruit and Vegies eaten around here. :) Multi vitamin cap most days too Keeping away from sick people and crowded places as much as possible helps too. Minor colds only around here so hot toddies are enough. No flu jab, I have only ever had one and that was in the mid 60s ~ boy was I sick :annoyed: |

When you used to be able to buy those capsules that dried up your nose I took them if I had to go to work. But now they are a P ingredient and you can't buy them....well plenty of clean hankies. |

| 458763 | 2006-05-29 07:46:00 | LOL Im on antibionics . . . . . . . . . . . . due to sinus / ear infection . which is not quite a cold, but driving me battier than normal . . . . . and lots of aches and pains . . . . . and yes ive got those day night things as well . . . . . . . . . causing havoc on the system . . . . they gave them to me no probs cos i got a script at same time . . . . But 3 Days in a row having to have granny naps during the day . . . . . . a 4 hr catnap today cos the body rebelled . . . . . . . Makes it hard to think, focus or work . Lots of fluids helps, the eating has gone down, and the sleeping has gone up . . . . lol it just seems to be getting worse not better after a week . . . . . :( one day at a time i guess . . . . . :rolleyes: the brain fog will get better . . . :D beetle |
