| 458500 | 2006-05-28 10:06:00 | Hello everybody! As I am a professional traveler, I love to go to many nice places around the world. So I am now searching for some information to see if I can install a GPS on my cell phone. Could anybody provide me some advices on it? Friends told me that I only have to purchase a GPS receiver if I use Nav4All as my navigator. Does anybody know if it is true? Thx a lot! | busbizwi (10465) | ||

There are GPS receivers which fit in a Compact Flash slot, and probably slots for some of the other memory cards. I think one of the Compaq/HP units has (had? ... models become obsolete very quickly) an external GPS module. But the manufacturer of your phone would be happy to tell you about the particular model. Then Google, with "<make and model> GPS" and see what the users say about it. ;) |
