| 457743 | 2006-05-25 21:29:00 | Seeing as we have all sorts of experts on this forum I'll see if anyone can help me. My sky TV is stuck on channel 12. I can not change channels with my remote or directly on the decoder. I can change from sky to TVNZ with my TV remote, but as soon as I go back to sky up pops 12 and it refuses to shift. I have changed the batteries in my sky remote, and that's about the extent of my knowledge. And Sky are a bit like telecom. They can't get anyone here until tomorrow. |

| 457747 | 2006-05-26 01:35:00 | Nothing works. Apart from the on/off button, the rest do exactly nothing. Left it unplugged for two hours and then tried again. Nothing! You'd think that at sky's prices you would get a bit of service from them. Just another bunch of no hopers. |

| 457748 | 2006-05-26 01:47:00 | it may need a hardware reset, there is certain buttons that need to be held down as you power up. best bet is to simply get it replaced. often get it with spikes up the power and PHONE lines. |

The chap who did the job told me the girls who answer the phones have no idea when the "workers" can do a job so they just tell the customers,"tomorrow". The blast she got from me must have worked. Thanks for all advice given. |
