| 699464 | 2008-08-23 04:23:00 | Installed Opera 9.52 last night (which has just come out), thats no better. Some sites took ages to load, sometimes, you had to press enter 2-3 times to get it to load whatever site. And it started hanging. That doesn't happen to me on Opera (using 2 slightly different versions of Opera on 2 different computers, ie one is a couple of updates newer). However I haven't done comparisons like you have so all I can really say is that mine doesn't hang. Actually now I think about it I have had to push enter again to get a page to load, but that only happens rarely. |

| 699465 | 2008-08-23 04:53:00 | Personally I use FF3 + IE7Pro, I have both opera and Safri as well but I find even today that there are several sites (not MS) that still wont work right in FF. Ever since FF3 I have had several sites that open OK, but the links within them are dead, or try to open but dont. Same site in IE7Pro or opera work perfectly. |

I have no problem with IE7 and use FF on my U3 drive. Some people drive Toyotas, some Fords (okay-bad comparison!), they normally get you where you want to go (well, maybe not he Ford-okay-so I've just shot myself in the foot:) ). |

I love Firefox, but I have two sites that crash quite a lot with Firefox 3.01 on my XP desktop, but not on my Vista Laptop and not with IE7. They are Stuff and the NZ Herald. It seems to be due to all of their fancy ads and popups etc. |
