458716 2006-06-08 00:17:00 Online DVD rental store Netflix has a strong customer base. It also brings back obscure movies that space-constrained stores can't carry. But movie download services may threaten Netflix if they can match its offerings.

This is along my line of stating the vid/dvd rental stores are hurting: Five million families now have Netflix accounts, and the company has basically reinvented the concept of a quick-turnaround mail-order business. It is, in short, one of the most impressive companies around.
