458210 2006-05-28 04:00:00 "The fog really advantaged the Canes" - yeah right!!. Boganville is known for its perma-fog, and that's just the rugby supporters.

Rugby was the loser on the day. Bring on the World Cup - some real sport at last.

I can't honestly believe rugby commentators aka channel 3 actually gave the Canes any kind of chance. Year after year the Canes just fail, fail fail, its kinda pathetic really.

I guess it helps sell tickets.

458215 2006-05-31 06:00:00 The Crusaders only won because the fog prevented the referee from seeing all their illegal tactics (they use them every game!).

What's with the World Cup references? It isn't until next year.
Or perhaps there are a few Poms around thinking the kick-it-wi'-yu-head nonsense is sport?

No you're confusing your football codes - Poms play rugby and are the World Champions at it - they have a football team as well but are not currently world champions .

So the kick it with your head game you refer to is called rugby, although kick you in the head is perhaps technically more accurate .

The World Cup is of course for football . The idea was later stolen by rugby but has never really taken off as only about five teams in the world really play the game .

The sports have similarities though, New Zealand has not performed well in football since 1982 at a World Cup, and not since 1987 at Rugby .

No immediate change to that is currently predicted although the Rugby Union has currently got a squad of about five hundred players to try and ensure someone survives the food poisoning they will inevitably get the night before a big match .

I hope that clears that up .

I hope that clears that up.Um, I think you need to go back to kindergarten and learn to count. Ninety five (www.irb.com) is a bit more accurate.

Yeah and the All Blacks play Chinese Taipei how often? I was being charitable but five countries being competitive is about it.

lol What happened to the canes last year?, how about the year b4 that? , the year b4 that?, the year b4 that?

If your team doesn't have the balls to stand up to a bit of bully tatics then they are playing the wrong sport, don't seend those girls down next time, only send men!
