700697 2008-08-27 03:02:00 The number looks quite familiar - maybe it's an integer overflow or something in the router's web admin page. somebody (208)

700700 2008-08-29 09:01:00 The SNR goes negative which overflows which makes the big number.

700701 2008-08-29 09:40:00 rang telecom to see what the go was

was on the phone with some foreign guy who said 3 or four times what plan i was on, tried to make me upgrade, after i told him thats not the issues around 30 times and told him it was the margin, he put me on hold for quarter of an hour then came back saying its because im sharing my pizza with a lot of people as a metaphor of me sharing my connection with other people. he never got it that i said upstream margin so many times. then put me on hold and hung up on me.

FOR **** SAKES

700702 2008-08-29 11:00:00 Can feel ya frustration .

That figure is usually associated to your router not being able to display your true up margin figure (read: bug\too high to report) .

From my experiences you will have some kind of wiring problem and it will degrade over time- (this maybe from the crappy weather) either internal (house) or faulty pairs\connections back to the exchange . I suggest isolating your line (unplugging all devices from jack points) and connecting the router to the main line from the dmarc (were the phone line enters you house) and seeing if this makes any difference . . . what you want to do is eliminate any equipment of your own or is that is your responsibility .

If this does not make any change to your stats try changing you modulation type from ADSL2+ to MMODE or GDMT .

From your router stats it appears you are on a FS\128K profile\plan?

All I can say now if you are not experiencing any negative effects from this leave it for now and monitor and complain again (I know this can be a real mess around) when you do .

Please update with your findings :)
