| 700668 | 2008-08-27 00:43:00 | When I boot up Win XP I continually get the message "cmos checksum error, re-enter cpu settings in the cmos setup and save' Every time I shut down the clock reverts to the default time, 1993 so I reset the time in the Bios to no effect. I have put in two new Bios batteries to no effect. What am I supposed to be saving and how please. How do I fix the clock also. | parker (14124) | ||
| 700669 | 2008-08-27 01:01:00 | Once you replace the battery, you have to go into the bios, and reconfigure the settings in the bios. And change the time/date/year in the BIOS. Then save the settings, then reboot |
