I have just reinstalled Windows XP with 20GB partition intended for the operating system. The other partition does not show in My Computer or under explore. The BIOS shows the drive correctly at 200 GB. Where is the partitioned drive, and how can I access it? Thanks. |

Go to control panel / admin tools / computer management / disk management.
The rest of it should be here and show as unallocated. Right mouse on it and format it |

The partition may already be formatted, but not show. It may need a letter allocated to it or it may be hidden. Both can be fixed with drive manager, |

You dont need a path. After you format it, it'lll allocate a letter |

Go to Disk manager, right click on the partition, select change/add/remove drive letter and do it! If there is already a letter on the partition, look to see if it is hidden. If required you can reformat it. |
