I don't know but check out the fuss it caused on Digg - it's kept me amused for the last few minutes.

460473 2006-06-05 05:26:00 How come the actual burger never looks like it does in the picture? The present picture excepted, how often have you seen a promotional picture of a burger where the height was greater than the width? Meanwhile back at the store what you get resembles a burger sat on by a Sumo wrestler....IMO it's gotta be mis-representation.....but I suppose given Mac's is off the menu, who cares enough to do anything about it???

Oh beetle- there's so much I could say about that :stare:

But anyway, I was wondering the same thing about 'misrepresentation' when I bought some Talley's mixed veges from the supermarket yesterday . Nice photo on the packet, but my mouth stopped watering when I opened it to find sweet corn kernels, a few beans and big chunks of cauliflower stalks- without the 'flower' bits :groan:

I've never eaten at McD's, but that's another story . . .

. . . rather have the Snicker bars

How come the actual burger never looks like it does in the picture?Yeah! I want to know that too! What really bugs me is Subways . You go in there and point to the Italian BMT, and they then ask you to specify each individual item you want in it . If you tell them you want it just like the picture, they just look at you strangely . . . :waughh:

460478 2006-06-05 10:00:00 Subway?

Anyone that is silly enough to pay $12 for a bread role with very little (poor quality) meat deserves everything they get, The local bakey (Savages, Wanganui East if anyone is interested) sells a roll for $3 bucks that would kill anything from Subway, Besides that, How anal is a company that calls its bread stuffers "artists", or registers the name Doctor's Associates so they can try and look like they are endorsed by the medical industry.

As for promotional pics of burgers, they suck me in everytime at BK, Everytime I hit the drive through they have a new monster sized burger all ablaze on the menu, I buy it, its the size of a midgets thimble, And I had such high hopes for the Murphey's Meatlovers, I expected I would have to ditch my passenger so there would be room in the car, but no, another itsy bitsly kiddies burger, that tastes of the same plastic as the rest of the range.

Still, I have a soft spot for THE BOSS BURGER from the Mcspews, You can feel the fat burst out of her when you take a bite, roll down your throat like a tidal wave, and take up residence in one of them pipes that feed your heart....

460479 2006-06-05 10:58:00 Looks like a Boss Burger for me for tomorrow lunch, once the bacon, sausage and eggs had subsided from the excellent Occidental breakfast. Twelvevolts (5457)
