If you have computer problems they are best asked in the Press F1 forum, and this is the chat forum where the information talked about here is of a wide range of subjects and rather interesting at times... As all the Mods seem to be on holiday (probably basking on a beach in Fiji) here's my attempt at help: It's much like any other PHp board . Once you're logged in at the top of the page is PC World forums> and/or Press F1/PC World Chat depending where you came in . (Theres also Chat F1 listed off-site to make things more confusing) As beetle said PF1 is for posting comp related problems . . . my mother board just died etc . A good idea to be fairly clear with the thread title if you want help . . . put 'My mother board just died' rather than 'help me' ChatF1 is for non comp or general discussion like 'My mother just died' Below that is User CP, register etc, if you click on 'Quick links' you can change your profile/sig etc, view private messages and all that . All the other bits like 'smilies' and things just play around with- you can't break anything :D I'm sure Jen (the Mother Moderator (cough!)) will help you out if you need it when she returns from lying in the sun on a tropical isle :rolleyes: |
