700536 2008-08-26 11:02:00 Pancake said all infections had been removed?!

Doesn't matter how good ANY antispyware software is - including Combofix (which is very good & pancakes knowledge is great also) once a PC gets infected its not 100% that all infections are gone.

The only way to make certain is a complete partition deletion and reformat/install.

One of the pages, the unhook I think it was, even says that down the bottom.

700537 2008-08-26 11:03:00 Well if they've got the image or whatever I would use it. No point wasting time for something you cant fix Speedy Gonzales (78)
700538 2008-08-26 11:04:00 OK- pretty much vista trying to install SP1, we'll just ignore the other threads, fixable? Blam (54)
700539 2008-08-26 11:08:00 Since you dont have the Vista DVD this may or may not work since theres no reestore points - download the Vista Recovery (neosmart.net) Console portion of the DVD ( 86 as long as its not the 64 Bit Version of vista), - You'll need a torrent program- burn the image using image burning software, and boot from it, tell it to repair the Computer - may work - May not. wainuitech (129)
