459264 2006-05-31 10:36:00 Happy BDay James!
And here is a present for you: Knowing that you enjoy improving your English, the head of a school is a principal. Years ago I knew of a man who was one and he would tell people he is a "PAL to his students - and that is how you spell it."

Anyway, c'mon tell us what special things you did or had happened to you today (besides the Chem class song)?

459265 2006-05-31 10:38:00 If James has any sense he won't be hanging out at the computer, he will testing out all the legal things you can do at 18
Nah, tonight I would probably (in fact, I am right now) be busy preparing myself for tomorrow's English and Biology tests. And, no, I didn't receive any presents except "red packets" *grin*

Cheers :)

459266 2006-05-31 10:43:00 What did you get? At least something like a new 1 Gb USB drive?
Or maybe a new graphics card????

459267 2006-05-31 10:49:00 Thanks for the correction (I had probably used the wrong term due to my Physics test this morning, which required a lot of explanation on waves etc.) and wishes, Steve! Special things? I can't recall any besides what happened in Chemistry, actually. Friends wishing me "happy birthday", giving my Hi-5s when I showed my palm demanding presents :D as well as giving me handshakes. No special dinner (just the usual chicken "nuggets" and some vegetable) nor cakes for me tonight, except that mom had specially bought a couple of muffins (yay!) and a bag of chips (another yay!).

Cheers and thanks everybody! :)

459268 2006-05-31 10:57:00 OOH, how much in the red packets?
Hopefully something larger than $20?

Unfortunately, my dad is not passionate about latest gadget, unlike me :D He probably doesn't see the need of having USB drive, mp3 players (he would most likely think that this music player distracts me), gorgeous graphics card, wireless mouse or keyboard or 6.1 speaker system. As a result, it would be pretty pointless of me demanding one of these cool technology products. And by the way, the money that I got from them is destined to go to the bank - I don't get to spend it, which is kind of... having no presents at all, Anyway, I am not as materialistic as most people out there, as long as I can get decent education and having a professional job at the end of the day, I would be happy.

Cheers :)
