459768 2006-06-01 12:46:00 Hey does anyone know what the best way to set up a database for a world cup guess the score competetion? ie - each correct score is worth 3 points . would it be best for an excel sheet or microsort access. i need to enter info for over 100 people and have the formulas calculate the totals ..
is this possible does a spreadsheet exsist already??

459770 2006-06-01 15:06:00 Thanks for that but its another spreadsheet im looking for just to calculate whether people get the correct score ie. i have given people a sheet with all the games on it they must write in the score they predict . i will fill in all these details onto some sort of database before the kick off of the world cup. and what i hope to do is just fill in the score on the day and the formula will check the database and award 3 points to people with the correct prediction??
This is probably a lot of work but i was hoping there is one already set up for this kind of thing????

459771 2006-06-01 15:59:00 I doubt that someone has already written a spreadsheet to do that. But the checking to see if the scores are correct is going to be a small task compared to entering data for over 100 people.
I would imagine Excel would be better suited for this than Access.
