| 1430307 | 2016-12-28 07:51:00 | Someone has been to a site that has infections. SIMPLE to fix. Couple of seconds to cure. First you need to close the browser, if it wont close normally, bring up task manager - end task on the browser. Run the inbuilt windows disk cleanup, or Ccleaner. The "infections" are sitting in the temp internet files, clean them out = problem solved :) No need for other scans as they wont find them anywhere. BTW-- The current going rate is approx. $320 + a pirated / illegal copy of Malwarebytes Pro installed. ( I worked on a persons PC a few weeks back that DID ring them) Luckily It was only the day before, told him to call his bank to stop the transaction, which they did. |
