Did a bit of googling- All it*consists of is a modified version of Lubuntu, that is on a bootable USB drive. Minimum requirements and no extra applications. There used to be a few motherboards about you could*boot using (cant rember the name now) but it was like a fast*boot, a OS embedded in the board. Basically booted into the OS in about 2-3 seconds. |

| 1429851 | 2016-12-15 03:14:00 | Ive been looking at some reviews of it. It does work, BUT needs a working internet connection (network driver + old laptop + linux = ??) The favorable reviews I looked at are using descent machines. Sure it works fast on an i3 , why even bother test on that . Whats the point . how well does it work on " Your Old, Slow Computer " , like the one in the photo . It could be more useful on PC's that wont boot , to at least get the data off quickly or to try manual OS fixes . |
