| 1428665 | 2016-11-12 05:57:00 | I think that it is very wrong and can only be defined as blatant racism . There should not be a team such as the maori All Blacks . It is wrong to select a team on the basis of their race . Can you imagine the uproar if there was a team such as the Caucasian All Blacks? They would not get away with that and yet it seems to be alright to select an all maori team . The proper thing to do is disband the moari All Blacks and have a multi cultural All Blacks . |

| 1428670 | 2016-11-12 20:33:00 | Blatant? Not. More blatant when the wretched Afrikaners did not want Maori's to play them in the 40's?/70's?. Including from our All Blacks. Probably did not want them to land and view their Apartheid miserable s****y hell zone. Yet they they had the rude cheek to come to our God zone country to live. A tame "English" - Afrikaner told me at work once of the terrible racism. So did my Afrikaner maths teacher. And others... Maybe some kind of separatism - yes - but I'd rather see inherent/generational NZ's - Maori or not (i.e. caste's) in the Maori All Blacks. Which I think perhaps is the real Agenda. Rather than multi-nationals which seem to be prevalent in nearly every global sport. Like blacks playing in NZ basketball. Indian playing for NZ cricket. Polynesians (and tattoo's incidentally) has become common in NZ contact sports. NZ Warriors is a classic example. Maybe time for a "Islander All Blacks" Or League team. |

I'm pretty certain that lawyers and co$t$ in the millions will be required before, during and after the change. (Much the same as anything else these days.) ;) |

A bit of a Trumpism ? whats the harm ? just more red neckery And whites HAVE been in Maori teams , they were part Maori but not Brown No worse than having Irish, US, Brit Clubs & associations in NZ, no worse than having Women only(and men only) sports & clubs No worse than teams based on what country you grew up in . That is blatant discrimination right there. Go & tell Maori they cant have there own team, because some whites say so. |
