I know factors can vary, but what would the max bps speed on a long copper phone line some 3 or 4 km from the exchange be. The last km is up our drive way serving 5 customers. My speed test shows only around 5 bps down or 0.4 up on an old modem router. My neighbor got sent a Hauwie b315 and says he is getting 10 to 15 down. Could it be he has upgraded to Rural BB he syas to his partner no?
There fore would a new Modem Router such as a Fritz Box 7490 do the same? |
