| 701065 | 2008-08-28 09:52:00 | Never had a problem with Firefox2,since the upgrade to Firefox3 I had several crashes. Now the program does not start anymore.Normally ZoneAlarm ask for permission for Firefox to enter the trusted zone first,if I allow,ZoneAlarm ask for access to the Internet. Both those windows dont come up anymore.I tried to uninstall(with Revo-Uninstaller) and new install Firefox, did not help, restoring did not help, taking the firewall off for a while did not help.I tried to re-install the old version 2,did not work. The program itself exists in my program files(around 25MB big),but I cannot open it. Internet Explorer works fine. What can I do ? |

| 701067 | 2008-08-29 01:52:00 | Try the RegCleaner by Jounio Vuorio. Google for it and install it; it's freeware. This little applet has a tab that contains all installed programs, you can check what you don't need and it will uninstall it for you, it will also give you the opportunity to review your registry (manually) for obsolete or unwanted entries. It's a little gem and saved my bacon several times. "This is assuming you can go online with IE..." Good luck. |
