| 701019 | 2008-08-28 04:23:00 | Hi all Friend has a laptop which he takes to uni with him, but sometimes forgets to mute the laptop's sound, so when it starts up, the sound will sometimes blare out in the lecture theatre!! Pressing the Fn+F7 (or whichever function key) does not work until it is logged in to the desktop. There is no manual volume control on the side of the laptop. Any ideas on how to mute it before logon??? He doesn't want to not have a startup sound. |
