| 701016 | 2008-08-28 04:06:00 | I want to replace a 512 MB DDR PC3200 RAM with a 1GB DDR 400 stick. But the PC won't boot properly. This is on a K8VGA-M motherboard and the BIOS is set to AUTO for memory. Anyone help out? | bpt2 (6653) | ||

This will help solve: 1: does the stick work 2: is it compatible with the board If it works in another board but not yours then I doubt fiddling with the timing parameters in bios will fix it. I never got this to work reliably and they generally always failed under test loads. |
