700856 2008-08-27 05:26:00 i wanted to know any good highly anonymous proxy server ips and ports if anyone knows some?

i only know one and its pretty useless its 10.0.0.254 and the port is 8080

i use that but its not anonymous enough, also when i use proxys do they have to be NZ ones?
if not then ive found some good ones on google

i use them to go on firefox at school because IE sucks!!! and you can use tabs:drool

700857 2008-08-27 05:29:00 They should keep up with the 21st century then. If theyre not using IE 7 Speedy Gonzales (78)
700858 2008-08-27 05:31:00 Speedy, the reason for using IE is because it can be heavily tied into the AD security policies - the same can't be said of Firefox.

Nerd, the proxy IP you listed is a private proxy, probably run by your school. Note also that your school's firewall is very, very unlikely to let you use an external proxy - if it does, whoever set up that network should be shot!

700859 2008-08-27 05:40:00 does anyone know any though? proxys?

they have ie 7 but they changed it somehow and it looks really useless, cant get tabs on that and the look is like the original windows ones even though they have xp for some reason, only admin gets the good xp look :(

but i have firefox portable on my flash drive :) and i get onto that but all the restrictions are stil there, like i wanted to get on the DSE site for my resarch but it was blocked and i told my teacher about it and he said theres nothing he can do abt it cuz its admins fault

if i had a good proxy that can get past blocks, undetected, then i can ues firefox properly and do my work which we arent allowed doin at home for some reacon cuz its NCEA :(

700860 2008-08-27 05:42:00 Like Erayd said if the school have set up their own proxy / firewall, I doubt you'll get past them Speedy Gonzales (78)
700861 2008-08-27 07:01:00 If the website you are trying to access are legit then I would expect the admin would allow the website. You should ask the teacher what the process is to get legit website allowed. I often open/allow either whole or parts of websites as required but this permission has to come from the principal or whoever has been given the role. Certainly not from student recommendations!

Allowing websites is a very simple process for an admin. In one school youtube is blocked but with access to certain approved video clips only. Try to click away to another clip and your blocked.

700862 2008-08-27 07:40:00 lol ok then ill see if i can get the admin to change his mind but isnt blocking dick smith electronics going too far? its not like itll use too much bandwidth or harm the computer nerd (109)
700863 2008-08-27 07:57:00 Gee, back in my day :waughh: we didn't have internet access at all.

(On the other hand, look how I turned out)

I agree with the school blocking DSE, what sort of use would you have for it normally?
