462408 2006-06-12 07:11:00 Does anyone know if something like this exists for an Edimax Br-6104K (yes, I know it's not a wireless router, but it is a router)?? somebody (208)
462409 2006-06-13 12:59:00 It can be installed on a lot of routers, there's a list somewhere. Try googling for it, I know theres one for OpenWRT. george12 (7)
462410 2006-06-14 02:37:00 There was a firmware hack for some d-link wireless routers, i saw a few on trademe with the hack installed and some massive kick ass antennas. The hack increases the power output of the router so it gets some massive range. Prescott (11)

462413 2006-06-14 12:54:00 Hmm, ever since I got a wireless router for our flat, our cordless phone gets heaps of feedback, and the wireless router craps out when the phone is used. Is this a common problem, and will boosting the power screw the phone up even more? roddy_boy (4115)
462414 2006-07-18 22:14:00 Just digging this old thread up:

For those of you using DD-WRT, how have you found it in terms of stability? Do you find you have to reset the routers frequently?

This is because I'm thinking of getting a Linksys router and sticking DD-WRT on it, as my current D-link AP keeps dying, and I have to turn it off and on every day or so.
