| 701033 | 2008-08-28 09:04:00 | hi just a quick question about raiding hdds, to set it up so that 2 500gbs turn into 1tb hdd how identical do the hdds have to be? because in an external case i have a western digital 500gb sata, and internally i have a 500gb seagate sata id i put them both in will it work? or do they have to be completely identical? also what type of raid turns 2 physical hdds into 1 virtual hdd? Thanks |
