| 701847 | 2008-09-01 10:58:00 | I have received a PDF file as an email attachment. When I try to open it the message comes up that my current security settings will not allow the file to be downloaded. I note that it is opening windows explorer to try and open the file. I have adobe 9 installed I tried using the file association menu to associate all PDF extensions to Adobe. However this then brought up the message that the file did not have an association allocated to it. I'm stumped Cheers |

| 701848 | 2008-09-01 11:03:00 | If using Outlook express, open the program, up top tools/options/ Security Tab, untick " do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" if its ticked. If thats Ok, try saving the PDF first to someplace like the desktop. IF that still doesn't work then try a different PDF reader Foxit PDF (www.foxitsoftware.com) - click on the link on the LEFT of that page. |
