| 462583 | 2006-06-12 21:50:00 | Looks more like you hit him! ps - why you uploading bitmap images Joe? Forgotten how to convert em? ;) Hey! I'm old and ENTITLED TO FORGET! actually, I think Picassa has made it tough to correct that. It grabs the pixs and adds it's own extensions and they are a bugger for me to re-convert...again, age is the culprit here, not the machine's but mine. |

| 462584 | 2006-06-12 22:06:00 | anyway . . . the part about my hitting him is wrong without the rest of the pixs . He was sliding around a left turn on that dirt road and crossed-up really in fine shape, but the problem was that I was on my side of the road (remember you drive on the wrong side like he was) and in trying to get straightened up, he crossed in front of my stopped vehicle, ripping off his bed and tore off his differential, then he bounced into a really big rock on his side of the road and ruined the other side of his truck . (Mistake there, it wasn't even his truck, but his dad's!) His insurance paid me for the accident plus loss of vehicle for 5 months and I still have the Amigo . It's all fixed now except for the repaint . I can send some more pixs if you want to see the guy and his truck and the rest of his damage . Here you can see the tire marks from his truck crossing in front of mine . . don't forget we drive on the correct side of the road . . . . . . imagef1 . net . nz/files/Amigo_Accident_007 . jpg" target="_blank">www . imagef1 . net . nz and here you can see my skids coming to a stop: . imagef1 . net . nz/files/Amigo_Accident_006 . jpg" target="_blank">www . imagef1 . net . nz here you can see him coming after me and my camera . . . he tried to take it away from me, but a couple of guys showed up and stopped him . . just in time! Phew! : . imagef1 . net . nz/files/Amigo_Accident_008 . jpg" target="_blank">www . imagef1 . net . nz this is where the other guys told him to go sit in his truck until the cops showed up . He said he was going to say he was really hurt badly and then sue me . When the paramedics got there, they asked where he hurt and he said everywhere . . . then they asked him how he got so hurt . . . and he said he didn't have his seatblet on . That was all the cop needed as they cited him for not wearing one and then he lost his ability to file suit in court for anything . His injuries (that he didn't have) would not be covered by any insurance nor would the repairs to his dad's vehicle . In California, if you have not had your seatbelts on, then you have no rights in court . He got a ticket for not wearing it too, by self-admission . last pix: . imagef1 . net . nz/files/Amigo_Accident_013 . jpg" target="_blank">www . imagef1 . net . nz although I have others of the same accident . |
