463013 2006-06-15 10:02:00 There is javascript:

<script type="text/javascript" src="/skins/common/wikibits.js"></script>

463014 2006-06-15 12:35:00 There is no javascript in the design - that javascript is part of MediaWiki and nothing to do with me (and hence not responsible for the floating navbar).

The navbar is entirely HTML/CSS, and is hidden in IE - IE can't render it properly. I have tested it in IE, Safari, Konqueror & Firefox - all are supported except IE. You won't see the navbar until you scroll down the page.

I can see the floating navbar now. :cool:

Not sure if it is coincidence or not but it appeared after I installed Java for something else last night. Unfortunately it displays the same as bob_doe_nz's but I have posted on the Opera forums to see if someone knows how to fix that. Will contact you if anyone replies.

As for Internet Explorer... :rolleyes:

463017 2006-06-16 01:38:00 Like it. But a picky b*stard like me finds the different 'F's in the logo annoying... ;
and also the non-aligning 'Main Page' and 'FaqF1 -- The Official ....' heading.

Oh.... and I especially love the floating nav-bar; it's subtle and way, way better than a floating left-aligned menu box.

463018 2006-06-16 04:53:00 The java will be a coincidence. As far as I'm aware, even MediaWiki doesn't use java - it uses javascript, which is totally different. I have used neither of these.

RE Antmannz's comments on the non-alignment of the subheading - what do others think? I did it to add a bit of interest, and make it less 'square', but it can easily be changed.

463019 2006-06-19 06:43:00 Hmm ... I just carefully centred some text which looks great under Edit Mode, but when you log out the new Wiki theme does not seem to support this html code and left-aligns it ... :dogeye: Jen (38)
463020 2006-06-20 10:22:00 Fixed :). Thanks for that. Stuff will now centre correctly. Image uploading is now also enabled. Erayd (23)
463021 2006-06-20 10:40:00 I reckon we should have a favicon for the Wiki. :) FoxyMX (5)
463022 2006-06-20 10:42:00 Thanks - the text centres fine :). However now my image which I stuffed into a frame moves position under the Wiki theme. I want it to display in the same position like it does in Edit Mode with the main text on the left-hand side of it - ta! Jen (38)
