701803 2008-09-01 09:30:00 you can see the lines in the middle of hte page, i think they are of msn things? nerd (109)
701804 2008-09-01 09:38:00 You save it as a jpeg not bmp, I dont know if paint does this. If it doesnt you need another program

If the lines dont appear on a blank screen its that pic not your screen

701806 2008-09-01 10:01:00 Well change the screen background to none, then if its still there its the screen. if it goes away, the lines are in that pic Speedy Gonzales (78)
701807 2008-09-01 11:54:00 yep - Paint does - the really 'old' versions only saved as bitmaps, but they have had numerous filetype save compressions for quite a while now.

Change the "Save as filetype" to JPEG from the dropdown selection

701808 2008-09-01 20:02:00 Hmmm.... Coincidentally, my laptop has started to have the same problem lately. For instance, when I press the "Windows" key twice, some of the menu items will remain "stuck" on the desktop. The plastered items (or shall I say, virtual hologram) cannot be removed by refreshing the desktop or standing by and then waking up the computer. Initially I thought CrystalXP's Bricopack Shadow Effect was to be blamed, but deactivating and reactivating the feature does not clear away the graphic sediments. In addition, bringing up Windows Security window that appears when "Ctrl + Alt + Del" combination keys are pressed cannot unclog the stuck image fragments either.

The only solution that I find helpful? Restart the computer :p

Cheers :)
