| 701721 | 2008-09-01 02:10:00 | Everytime i try to load a microsoft product the installer comes up and asks me to put a disk in drive 1 for a software programme, not microsoft, that is not on my computer anymore. I have tried reinstalling the software and uninstalling it but the problem is still there can anyone help | Barry R Lucas (14139) | ||

| 701723 | 2008-09-01 03:35:00 | Welcome to PF1 - try downloading Windows Cleanup Utility (support.microsoft.com) - run it then look for the entry that is trying to run / asking the CD for and remove it. Just a word of warning - be careful what you remove as it will remove programs that you dont want removed if you uninstall the wrong thing. |
