702337 2008-09-03 20:24:00 With FF3, Adblock Plus, how can I block the "Mojave Experiment" advert at the top right side of this page (digg.com _Gambia)?

I have never tried to block a specific advert. When I click on the ABP stopsign at the top right of FF3, I can see the list of Blockable Items at the bottom of the page but don't know which one is the Mojave Experiment.

Thanks.

702338 2008-09-03 20:27:00 What about if you rightclick the advert and then choose the adblock option? the_bogan (9949)
702339 2008-09-03 20:43:00 What about if you rightclick the advert and then choose the adblock option?

Right Click on the advert only gives Adobe Flash Player options.

BTW, I notice that the Mojave Experiment is not there anymore - did the Adblock community get it removed so fast after my post here?? But the advert does appear on this other page. (digg.com)

702342 2008-09-03 20:52:00 I just went there with FF3 and a right clk brought up a popup with block with adblock at the bottom of a list and clk add dissapeared kjaada (253)
702343 2008-09-03 20:55:00 You can do it using "select element to hide". That creates a rule for the domain. If that ad has the same id regardless of site it appears on you should be able to make the rule more general. PaulD (232)

"select element to hide" - Where is this option?

702346 2008-09-03 22:11:00 Like Metla, I can't see an ad on either of the pages you cite. I am using FF3 and AdBlock (not AdBlock Plus).

On both pages, AdBlock is blocking two things - one is "edge.quantserve.com and the other is "ads1.msn.com

The former is blocked with a rule to block all elements containing the word "quantserve", and the latter is blocked by a rule to block all elements containing "ads".
