465101 2006-06-22 01:21:00 I posted a reply to "Snow returns" thread at 12.09pm and it shows up as 1.09pm

I know Auckland is ahead of us in many things, but the time as well? :p
Starting daylight saving earlier up there?

It is now 12.20pm. Will be interesting to see what time this post shows as.

465102 2006-06-22 01:41:00 The time shown is based on your PC settings.
Your post above shows here as being 12:21 PM

Your post in the other thread shows here as 12:09.

Don't blame the PF1 server, look to your own system settings as to DST and region.

465105 2006-06-22 01:59:00 Isn't there one to "automatically adjust for daylight time"? If your time is correct that shouldn't matter., but who knows what goes on in the time calculations in MS software? They had to issue a patch to Windows 98 because it was distributed with code which calculated that 2000 was a leap year. ;) Graham L (2)
465106 2006-06-22 02:09:00 If you log off the forum, does it show the correct time? At the bottom of each page it should have "All times are GMT +12". Is it different when you are logged on? You can adjust your Date & Time Options under User CP here (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz). Make sure your DST Correction Option is set to Automatic. :) Jen (38)

When I log off, the times of posts etc are correct. Now that I have logged on again, the times are ahead by 1 hour again.

Checked for the DST correction option and it is set to Automatic.

At the bottom of the page, when logged on, it shows GMT +13.

Weird. :help:

Think I will restart the computer again, maybe it's my Avant Browser or something. Thanks for the help anyway :)

465108 2006-06-22 02:27:00 Has your computer got the correct date? Graham L (2)
465109 2006-06-22 02:37:00 PressF1 time is 2 minutes ahead of my computer's.
(Going by a post I made in another thread)
Hardly worth worrying about - even for a time purist like me...
