If your internet is slowish like me, the extension cable won't be a limiting factor at all. I guess this might affect someone running on ADSL2+ at 24MBps |

An upside to living on the North Shore -- though weather not as good a Nelson or Napier :( Overall, with feedback on this forum combined with excursions onto the web to research the subject, it seems that a long cable is nothing to get too hung up about ( I have a tendency to get paranoid about such things and try to correct when the time and expense could be better used).
