466647 2006-06-27 12:12:00 Who forgives Telecom? Anyone? Not me. They took a lot of my moeny already. Let the NZ Telecom close down and welcome International Telecommunications company to NZ.

Are you aware that I have paid heaps of money buying software? I guess you may have as well. I don't have any shares in Microsoft but over years I have bought the software.

The CEO of Telecom has to do the best for the shareholders. I have no share portfolio at all.

Vote with your feet and the wallet.

466650 2006-06-28 09:44:00 You mean like that great monopoly company from Oz?? Then who else? Telecom NZ. Can't believe NZ lost so much money during the recestion. And sold those firms to private firms. I mean China govt can handle huge projects than NZ. So many people in China, I mean how can the govt handle that? Impressive. I've also saw some biggest project in the world been done there. Like the Three Gorges Dam on Yangtze River. Railway from Qinghai to Tibet. With more than a thousand kilometers of train track. Check out Chinese Rail to Tibet thread. Impressive train too.
In future again China might become the most advance age in the world again. Like in the past.

LOL.. the chinese government couldn't even handle a partnership in a North Island Company with 2 factorys that dealt with timber (the partnership being Brierlys/Citec/FCF). How are they supposed to handle telcommunications/internet in NZ?

466652 2006-06-28 10:53:00 LOL.. the chinese government couldn't even handle a partnership in a North Island Company with 2 factorys that dealt with timber (the partnership being Brierlys/Citec/FCF). How are they supposed to handle telcommunications/internet in NZ???? Don't know about that. But the largest hydro dam in China owned by the government. China Telecom is owned by Chinese government too. Most of the projects are owned by the Chinese government in China. Except business like manufacturing etc. MTLance (6768)
466653 2006-06-28 11:02:00 ??? But the largest hydro dam in China owned by the government.
And it's also started cracking already due to shoddy construction, bribes and shortcuts not only that, thousands have been displaced forcibly as well as teh dam not generating its planned output capacity. :2cents:

Some construction are corrupted. So whoever do corruption will get busted soon enough. So the building are quite shoddy. Due to corruption. The original plan was suppost to be solid but the people cut down on materials. MTLance (6768)
466655 2006-06-28 11:14:00 No one should buy anything made in China, Including dams.(and excluding certain brands of PC components)

Our market has been flooded with throw-away junk from that part of the world for the last couple of years, People are almost used to throw away power tools, DVD players, crappy TV's, The list is endless.

We should send it all back, they can use it to backfill against there 42 cent dam.

Hail China for exploiting Tibet.
