This morning outlook 03 is not sending and receiving from my gmail account, worked fine last night, today keeps asking for my password anyone have any clues as to why this happens, I have had it before a long time ago. I can get into gmail on the web so don't think its a problem with them but an outlook problem. If still not working tonight will delete and then re create the account have checked settings and all seem to be fine.

Happens occasionally to me (also running Outlook 2003) - usually goes away. I think it is related to the connection time to the mail server. If the ping is not optimum, it times out when trying to retrieve mail.... |

Ditto to what johncar said it happened to me on 2003 and still happens on 2007, always fixes itself after a little while |
