| 466025 | 2006-06-25 11:10:00 | I just read that good ol' Norm Hewitt was paid $40,000.00 for appearing on that hideous program, plus a 'few thousand more' for TVNZ rights to use his pic etc. By my reckoning, and I'm guessing there were about 8 couples on the show... 8x2=16x 40,000= $640,000 TVNZ could have paid out for a series of 'quality' (cough again) NZ programming. I'm pretty much gob smacked as I would have thought most of those 'stars' should have paid TVNZ to be on there and I wonder how many gave any/all of their booty to charity? I like to think of my tax dollars being recycled to where they are actually needed :annoyed: |

Where is the money gone? Helen Clerk pocket and the other MPs. Did anyone remember the case of Helen Barry? $800,000 of annual pay. Damn bustard, normal people only earned $60,000 to $70,000. It was TVNZ too. Where is the real money gone???!!! I mean our money!!! Trip for Don Brash to NY? Trip for Helen Clark to China? Feed TVNZ people and etc???!!! |

More like and accordion or set of bag pipes with that much gas to me. Then again, if it were any other political party, they'd do the same. Notice how no-one said, no thanks I'm earning enough. :angry |
