| 469490 | 2006-07-08 15:51:00 | I did a fix, if you need can get it here: "http://[edit]tooltips fix.exe" To run it you also need the VB6 runtime, can be found on microsoft.com Attention: There could be some odd behavior with windows that was already opened while running the fix, so reopening them will help. p.s.: The fix applies HWND_TOPMOST to all windows where "ToolTip" found in it's classname. |

| 469491 | 2006-07-08 22:20:00 | Hi TSRh I am sure you are just trying to be helpful, but any new member whose first post is a link to an executable file hosted on their own website which has no homepage, and no explanation about the file is treated with suspicion. I have edited your link to prevent it being accessed. If you wish to share fixes for common problems than involve registry adjustments, then I suggest you use the .reg file format which can be viewed and edited and also include the content in plain text. That way everyone can see just what they are getting and what changes will be made. |
