| 468757 | 2006-07-05 08:41:00 | Someone here must know a bit about cars.. Can anyone tell me what kind of engine a 1991 Mitsi Lancer GTI would have? It's an 1800, non-turbo, 5-speed manual.. If that helps. Or if anyone can tell me what kind of engine I could put it one to replace the old one? Cheers. |

The later 1992 model used a 4G93 1834cc engine, which continued right through to 2002. No idea of the physical differences though. |

I do drive it hard now and then and it just worries me.. A friend suggested I used it as a trade-in for a GSR or and EVO.. But there are lots of them around, I havn't seen many GTIs in Chch. |
