469481	2006-07-20 02:19:00	One thing I hate about car saleman is that they won't leave you alone, keeps talking to you even after you told them that I'm just browsing and I'll give them a yell if I need anything . BUT NO . . . "What can I sell you today?" "Anything in particular you're looking for . . . ?" "What sort of car do you drive, are you planning to trade?" . . . follows you around . . . Most of the time I just leave the car yard within 1 minute with that kind of annoying attitude .	SKT174 (1319)

They badger and harass you into buying until you drive away in something that you feel you paid too much for and didn't want in the first place. That's why I don't use them anymore. Besides buying privately cuts out the middleperson.	mark c (247)

Most of the time I just leave the car yard within 1 minute with that kind of annoying attitude . You can turn the tables on them if you have the time . . . you start directing the conversion . . . and you keep them talking . Suddenly the penny will drop (varies with the intelligence of said salesperson) that you are not going to buy a car and they will find some excuse to get away from you .
