703742 2008-09-23 05:46:00 Hmm, well this is what I see:
www.imagef1.net.nz

Don't remember doing anything special to enable it, sorry.

I get a similar screen,
Attached file: Computer_management.png (www.imagef1.net.nz) (22 KB)

but when I right-click on a shared folder, the only options are refresh or help. Not to worry, I'm not losing any sleep over it.

703743 2008-09-23 08:36:00 Untick simple file sharing in my computer / tools / folder options / view

Then you'll see more than refresh and help. You'll see properties / all tasks, and stop sharing as well

703744 2008-09-23 09:00:00 Ah, is that it. I think I like simple file sharing though? What are the ramifications of unticking it? rumpty (2863)
703745 2008-09-23 09:02:00 You may have to add the user's name to your system, so they can get access to the shared folder (or anymore folders you share)

As it gives you the security tab / permissions in XP Pro

Altho I've found with this router, I've unticked it and sharing folders is fine, I dont have to use passwords
