| 703332 | 2008-09-08 04:11:00 | Thanks for that berryb, however that looks quite a manual task to be constantly updated.....i think this is where spam filter from 3rd parties play there part with update records etc..... | SolMiester (139) | ||

Once I have it setup I approve the updates from WSUS along with all Windows/Office etc updates. Normally a weekly process. Of course third party programs can still be used but what is available that is compatible with Exchange. Etrust is supposed to be but had trouble with the integration so gave up. Havent had time to play with their Gateway software but so far havent had the need for further filtering than currently have. SBS might be completely different though. |

Hadn't thought of that but my Gmail downloads into Outlook and if I replied, I'd be handing my Gmail address to everyone - and I don't want to do that. At the moment I have 4 accounts in Outlook to send from but inevitably sometimes use an account which I didn't intend to. |

I have two accounts on the family computer, and kept sending from the wrong one, so I have installed Thunderbird, and use that for one account and Outlook for the other. No mistakes yet! |

| 703337 | 2008-09-08 08:01:00 | The question was "Anyone Still Use Mail Marshall?" But replies are regarding Mail Washer. Two totally different things. Mail Marshall is used by businesses for tracking who accesses the web, what sites, for how long, etc. Tracking emails, etc. Mainly to enforce company computer /internet policies. We still use Mail Marshall at work. The NZ operation now seems to be based in Australia. Our IT guy has had a few problems setting it up to run properly. It also filters spam quite well. |
