703166 2008-09-08 22:41:00 so i'm guessing you can't just have the tv card's wireless antenna to pick up freeview digital? WestMclaren2004 (7303)
703167 2008-09-09 05:56:00 I have a usb tuner dongle that picks up dvb-t, all I use is the little high gain antenna that came with the package and I can receive signals nicely.
Had to find a good position for it though.
Of course if I connect it to my external antenna on the roof, the signal is even better.

I didn't get mediaportal to work though, GB-PVR works fine for me. If you want TV on computer these days, it's best to receive these FreeviewHD signals (assuming your computer is faster enough to decode it).

thanks in advance . .

I don't think so . I've got a Hauppauge HVR900H which I purchased off ascent, It came with an DVB-T (Freeview HD) antenna which didn't pick up any channels . Other than that it is fine . Works brilliantly :)
