| 703166 | 2008-09-08 22:41:00 | so i'm guessing you can't just have the tv card's wireless antenna to pick up freeview digital? | WestMclaren2004 (7303) | ||
| 703167 | 2008-09-09 05:56:00 | I have a usb tuner dongle that picks up dvb-t, all I use is the little high gain antenna that came with the package and I can receive signals nicely. Had to find a good position for it though. Of course if I connect it to my external antenna on the roof, the signal is even better. I didn't get mediaportal to work though, GB-PVR works fine for me. If you want TV on computer these days, it's best to receive these FreeviewHD signals (assuming your computer is faster enough to decode it). |

I don't think so . I've got a Hauppauge HVR900H which I purchased off ascent, It came with an DVB-T (Freeview HD) antenna which didn't pick up any channels . Other than that it is fine . Works brilliantly :) |
