Therefore we should also hand over our obligations and responsibility to these "British Subjects" to Britain as well.LINK (www.nzherald.co.nz) | KiwiTT_NZ (233) | ||

As far as I remember the UK 1948 Nationality Act was drafted and passed very quickly when it was suddenly realised that after India gained independence in 1947, about 600 million Indians were entitled to claim a British passport. The Atlee government went into a flat spin :) |

I can see myself strolling the grounds on the ancestral Lord T's estates, taking my place in the House of Bawds and generally having a wonderful time at the expense of the great unwashed of the British taxpayers. The T's family history says we once owned a decent sized slab of one of London's choicer suburbs, so I'd like to take a crack at recovering that too. Got to be worth a few gazillion quid by now. I'm not too worried about the UK 1948 Nationality Act either, I reckon we can just say it unlawfully abrogated our rights as pukka British citizens and have it declared unconstitutional, though I guess that might have a side effect of increasing the number of Indian Takeaways etc when the rest of the colonies catch on. I believe many so-called "Maori", who are less than 50% Maori (in their DNA), are just using their portion of the race that has advantages (i.e. benefits) to milk the system, because they are just too lazy to do anything else. |
